The first prototypes of microcontrollers will appear at the end of 2025, and mass production will begin in 2026. Yongatek Microelectronics will produce up to 30 million devices per year for the Beko brand, with the prospect of increasing to 50 million.

This is an important step to reduce dependence on imports and turn microchips into a strategic asset of the country. Turkey has serious plans: Yongatek is already developing AI processors for cameras, programmable chips for the defense industry, and chips for satellite communications.
